We are very excited to be able to offer regular Group Supervision opportunities.
Supervisor: Samantha King (Psychologist, Board approved STAP Accredited Supervisor, Animal Assisted Therapist, Owner of TDA, full bio below).
Participants: Group supervision is only available to TDA course graduates (or those currently studying with us)
Duration: 1.5hrs – but plan to be available for 2hrs to account for running over time, if required.
Group: 5 participants maximum
Refunds/transfers: Due to keeping this group very small, we are not able to offer transfers or refunds if you cannot attend – unless we are able to fill your place. You are welcome to contact others to take your place.

Samantha has experience working with therapy dogs across various settings, including schools, community mental health and private practice since 2013. Samantha has spoken at several conferences on AAT topics, including the 50th Australian Psychological Conference in October 2015 and the Australia & New Zealand Psychiatrists Conference in Hobart 2016. Samantha is also EAGALA trained (2018) and provides Psychology assisted by Equines with her herd of 7 horses including four brumbies.
Samantha is a Psychologist and clinic director at Psychology & Animal Assisted Wellbeing, a clinic where therapists work with a therapy dog providing animal-assisted interventions. Sam works with her dogs (Sonny, Oliver, & Nala) to provide Animal-Assisted Therapy for children, adolescents & adults.
Samantha is a qualified dog trainer (Certificate III in Dog Training & Behaviour – NDTF). She is also currently enrolled and completing a Certificate II in Animal Assisted Psychotherapy through Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado (USA).
